Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing Kaitlyn, a sweet girl that I really think could pass for one of my sister-in-laws. (Martha + Elena = Kaitlyn? No? Yes? Yes.) I mean it as a compliment all the way around.

Catching Up

Most of you probably don’t know that I’ve suffered a great deal of computer problems lately. It has caused me tremendous stress and I am just now getting caught up on the work I was doing before the ‘catastrophe’. So if you have wondered why all you’ve been seeing or hearing around here are crickets, it is because I am over my head in old and new work and have not had much time for personal pictures.

Also, when I announced here that I was pregnant, I said I reserved the right to say “all I can handle is my own kids; no pictures of other people for the time being”. Well, now I’m exercising that right. All I can handle right now are taking care of my own kids, finishing up the work I already have, and, of course, honoring the commitments I have already made to a couple other clients in the coming weeks. After that, I am taking an extended break. Sorry.

Hopefully, I’ll soon be able to catch up on everything and get back in the swing of posting more frequently. In the meantime, here’s an old (?) picture of Jacob- and my favorite smile:
