The Angler

We spent last weekend at the lake with friends and family.
Jacob was excited to go, as usual, and I couldn’t believe how determined a fisherman he’s become now. He sat (or stood) on the dock, fishing pole in hand, for hours. {As far as I can remember, he hasn’t remained still for an appreciable amount of time in the last couple of years otherwise.
}

Everyone hoped he’d catch something. After all, he’d devoted so much time to the effort. And the next day:

… a two pound white perch (so they said… I haven’t a clue). According to Jacob’s retelling, he caught a huge “white pearl fish”. He was so proud of himself. I’m going to print that picture for him to hang in his room. He has a “spot on the wall picked out for it.”
Thanks to everyone involved for a great weekend. And thanks to Amber and Eddie for coming with us.
You know, its a real shame when Jacob’s 1st fish is bigger than all of mine combined. Great job! He resembles Sal alot in that pic.
So proud of Jacob!! The smile says it all!!The sunset pictures is priceless!!Eddie is great don’t tell Eric!
